Communication
Slack is primary. Check it regularly during working hours. Some clients use Slack Connect (you join their workspace). Others prefer email. Your client will confirm.When to escalate to ThirstySprout
- Blocked for more than 1 business day
- Scope is changing or client requests extra work
- Payment or time tracking issues
- Any professional conduct concerns
Scope changes
All scope changes need approval from ThirstySprout leadership. This protects you from unpaid work.Running low on work?
- Tell your client what you need to proceed
- Propose alternative tasks (tests, docs, refactors)
- If blocked 1+ day, bring in ThirstySprout
Time off
- Provide 1 week notice when possible
- Message ThirstySprout support on Slack
- Coordinate coverage with your client
